News Equipment Observatory Astrophotography Projects About me

Venus is the second planet from the sun. Venus is about the size of earth, but with a much more cloudy atmosphere, making it a very bright planet. The phases of Venus are very clearly visible in small scopes, making it an interesting object to track over a couple months and observing the change of (appearant) shape and size of the planet.

This is my first image of Venus, due to clouds I had very limited time to image and this one came out nicely.
